Low Density Polyethylene is specially used in agriculture sector. It has been produced in Turkey since 1970.
Due to their important characteristics such as resistant, cheap, resistant to chemical eff ect and external factors, high resistivity, easy processing, the products made of low density polyethylene have replaced the goods made of traditional materials such as paper, glass, carton, leather, welt, tin, wool, cotton, linenand flax.
Parallel to the importance of early vegetable gardening, irrigation in agriculture and improvement of fertilization as well as the increase of grain production, the low density polyethylene films are widely used in greenhouses and for grain protection. On the other hand, due t its resistance, transparency and non intoxicant characteristics, the low density polyethylene films are used in the packing of foods and textile materials and specially the packing of exported goods. It has also a wide consumption area as cable in communication, energy distribution and industry.
Areas of usage:
It is used in the production of heavy duty bags, greenhouse cover, packing film, cable covering, home furniture, toys, pipe, hose, tube, bottle, fabric and metal coating, rotations and molding materials.
